Creating a Sub-Domain
How can you use your own website domain for your new Mobile site?
When creating a sub-domain, the Webmoblink name that is part of your new site address (this is shown because we host your site) won’t appear when typing your mobile URL address. You can leave your mobile URL as we provide or create a sub-domain that will hide the Webmoblink name. If you want to create a sub-domain for your new mobile site, this can be done by following the simple steps listed below. You can either contact your hosting company for assistance or log in to your own account and do it yourself. It doesn’t require much technical knowledge, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing it on your own, we recommend requesting assistance from your web hosting company. The typical steps for creating a sub-domain follow but they may vary, so our advice is to contact your hosting company.
Sample of the steps:
Log in to your Account Manager
In the My Products section, select Hosting Account List.
Next to the hosting account you want to modify information; click Open.
In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Center, click the sub-domains icon.
Click Add sub-domain
To add a sub-domain to your hosting account, type a sub-domain name and click Continue.
Review your sub-domain information. If everything looks OK, click Add to add the sub-domain to your hosting account.
